Sponsorship of Windsor Pride

With the UK and its ever-growing acceptance of the diverse population it has many major cities and towns that have started to host pride events to celebrate and to dispel the impression and show acceptance that not everybody fits the mould that society wants them to fit inside. Pride events have never been exclusively for the LGBT+ community and have not just been an area filled with that community. Its been a place the entire family can go from small children to pensioners and a chance to find information, support and above all get that feeling that if you ever felt you never fitted in there is support and acceptance in your community for who you are. Bringing visitors from afar to the city, increasing business to shops, hotels, restaurants, and bars as well as tourism and the nighttime ecomy hosting pride after parties. The entire day has something for the entire family during the day and into the early hours at the hosted after parties at local venues.

Many pride events consist of a march through the town centre for everybody to take part in and show their colours. Local businesses on the route do their part by showing their participation and spirit with this increased footfall in business. The march ends at the pride village (Alexandra Gardens) where there are arts, crafts, local support groups and charities, a kids sensory area and event sponsors as well as two stages showcasing the talents of the local community as well as performances, DJ’s, singers and drag artists. As well as food and drink.

This offers many areas for sponsorship from overall event headline sponsor to opportunities to sponsor individual elements of the event and represent your organisation near the front of the parade also.
